- In morning and afternoon schedule The Costeña airline offers two daily flights Managua - San Carlos - Managua.
- From the Mayoreo Market in Managua you will be able to take a daily bus ride to San Carlos, with duration of 10 hours in an average trip.
- Leaving from Granada to San Carlos, on Mondays and Thursdays, you will be able to cross Lake Nicaragua by boat with the Empresa Portuaria Nacional (EPN; National Port Company), in a trip that lasts 16 hours with departures at 2 in the afternoon.
In order to return to Granada from San Carlos, you will be able to take the boat on Tuesdays and Fridays at the same hour.
