San Juan River, rich of history and nature, located in the far south of Nicaragua, with an area of 199 km from Lake Nicaragua to the Caribbean Sea, along the route you will see exotic landscapes and diversity of birds. Day 1. Arrive to Sabalos Lodge and enjoy free afternoon in this beautiful environment. Day 2. Tour to Indio Maiz National Reserve and El Castillo Fortress. In the morning, you will visit Indio Maiz National Reserve to walk through the jungle, then, you will go to El Castillo town, have lunch and visit the Fortress, which was built by the Spaniards to protect the city of Granada from the English pirates; After all these wonderfull experiences you will return to Sabalos Lodge. Day 3. Free time during the morning and return by public boat to San Carlos to take the plane. Includes: Air ticket Managua / San Carlos / Managua Public boat to the Sabalos Lodge. Private boat to Indio Maiz National Reserve forest and “El Castillo Fortress”. 2 nights at SABALOS LODGE, Tarzan’s Cabin or similar.
