I open my eyes and I am in the community of Peñas Blancas, El Cuá, Jinotega, a place that invites me to experience agrotourism, a style of tourism that goes beyond resting in the countryside alternating with the lifestyles and culture of the locals.

Don Chico Agrotourism Farm, Jinotega
More than 100 families live in the Peñas Blancas community, within which we find the Don Chico Agrotourism Farm, Its owner is a character of more than 80 years old who welcomes you with open arms, a smile on his face and warmth in his words that invite you to feel at home.
With Don Chico you will get to know the community, its coffee plantations and livestock, and you will enter the heart of the Peñas Blancas massif to discover its flora, fauna, people and waterfalls in harmony with nature. Los Nogales Reserve, Jinotega
Also in Peñas Blancas, it is a place to open your consciousness and be thankful for being and existing. Here you can enjoy spectacular sunrises with views of the imposing massif, a place of peace to enjoy all its surroundings, while the mist and the cold invite you to enjoy a cup of hot coffee.
You can go hiking, reach the Nahualí waterfall (and if your conditions allow it, even the Arcoíris waterfall), practice yoga, and develop different agrotourism practices and if you just need to rest, they offer their cabins that are spiritually renewing, there is also a food service with completely organic products, from their crops and from the community.

Located in the Datanlí El Diablo Natural Reserve, La Fundadora community. You can experience the essence of agrotourism by experiencing the culture and life of the countryside; it has enormous gardens that connect with each other and allow you to reach different areas of the farm. Loyal House, Santa Maria de Ostuma, Matagalpa
It is that dream place, as if taken from a love movie, located in the center of a coffee farm and we assume that it is a “lost paradise” surrounded by mountains. During your visit you can take a coffee tour, enjoy its gardens and the green spectacle, as well as marvel at the panoramic views. Buena Vista Agrotourism Farm, Las Lagunas, Boaco
340 people live in the Las Lagunas community. Get to know it and visit its petroglyphs and private wildlife reserve; milk a cow and make your own cream and curd, they will accompany you in the preparation, be part of the coffee production process, even serving it in your cup to taste it, they also take tours of their crops.
