According to the delegate of the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism in that department, Teresa Ramírez, "the 'tertulias leonesas' are already positioned at a national level and also abroad, because many visitors when they arrive in León gather in the Central Park to enjoy that space."

The first two months of 2017 were the turn of the Mayor's Office of León together with Intur, from March onwards each municipality will present its offer. The "tertulias leonesas", in addition to promoting destinations and culture, boost the economy of small leather, textile, gastronomy and other merchants.
